01. Acceptance of Terms & Scope
By accessing or utilizing the website (dhruvadefence.com), downloading or installing any mobile applications distributed by us (including Dhruva LDS on Google Play), interacting with our radar and lightning simulators, or transmitting encrypted inquiry payloads, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our incorporated Privacy Policy.
If you are acting on behalf of a military agency, government entity, defense contractor, or enterprise organization, you represent and warrant that you hold the requisite statutory or corporate authorization to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree to all provisions within this document, you must immediately terminate access to our portals and uninstall all Dhruva Defence software binaries from your devices.
02. Intellectual Property, Patents & Trademarks
All intellectual property rights in and to the systems, digital assets, and software suites operated by Dhruva Defence Systems Ltd. are strictly reserved and protected under Indian and international intellectual property conventions. This includes, without limitation:
- Proprietary Sensor Algorithms: Multi-sensor Time-of-Arrival (TOA) and Magnetic Direction Finding (MDF) lightning detection mathematical algorithms, storm velocity vector prediction routines, and electromagnetic signal filtering pipelines.
- Hardware & CAD Schematics: Design layouts, AESA radar transmit/receive module topologies, early-warning sensor enclosures, and antenna geometries.
- Software & Firmware Source Code: All source code, compiled binaries, APKs, user interface graphics, telemetry protocols, cryptographic wrappers, and simulation engines.
- Trademarks & Brand Assets: "DHRUVA DEFENCE", the stylized radar shield logo, "LDS Console", and related trade insignias are exclusive trademarks of Dhruva Defence Systems Ltd.

03. Mobile Applications License (EULA)
This End User License Agreement (EULA) governs your installation and usage of mobile and field software issued by Dhruva Defence:
A. Published Applications (Dhruva LDS - com.dhruva.lds)
Subject to your adherence to these Terms, Dhruva Defence grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and execute the Dhruva LDS application strictly from the official Google Play Store listing onto compatible Android devices for legitimate situational monitoring and personnel safety.
- You may not modify, repackage, sublicense, mirror, redistribute, or create derivative forks of the APK.
- You agree not to bypass, spoof, or tamper with GPS location permissions or push notification services necessary for the delivery of life-critical lightning warnings.
- You acknowledge that mobile alerts require active data connectivity and device operating system notification permissions to function.
B. Pipeline & In-Development Tactical Applications
Dhruva Defence maintains an active R&D pipeline of upcoming defense applications (such as Dhruva Radar EW Mobile Viewer, Dhruva Tactical Comms Mesh, and Dhruva SkyTelemetry UAV Ground Station). Access to pre-release, alpha, or beta builds of these applications is strictly restricted:
- Pre-release binaries are provided on a confidential, as-evaluated basis solely to accredited defense testbeds and licensed evaluators under separate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Unauthorized extraction, sideloading, or publication of pre-release telemetry dumps or screenshots is strictly prohibited and constitutes an actionable breach of contract.
04. Critical Atmospheric & Severe Weather Advisory Notice
Atmospheric electromagnetic discharges and lightning phenomena are inherently volatile, dynamic, and chaotic natural events. While our sensor matrices achieve superior localization accuracy (>99.8% precision under rated deployment parameters), the following operational constraints apply:
- No Guarantee of Zero-Strike Immunity: No detection technology can predict the precise point or millisecond of the first cloud-to-ground strike of a newly developing convective thunderstorm cell ("bolt-from-the-blue").
- Environmental & Network Dependencies: Alert delivery depends upon cellular networks, satellite uplinks, handset battery status, and operating system background process scheduling beyond our direct control.
- Precedence of Human Safety Protocols: Operators and facility managers must adhere strictly to established 30/30 lightning safety rules and shelter-in-place mandates whenever thunder is audible or lightning alerts are triggered.
05. Acceptable Use & Cyber Security Protocols
You agree not to engage in any activity that compromises the resilience, integrity, or security of our networks:
- Prohibited Incursions: Scanning, fuzzing, exploiting vulnerabilities, penetration testing without prior written authorization, or attempting to penetrate server defenses.
- Telemetry Exploitation: Automated scraping, scraping of radar canvas streams, high-frequency bot calls against telemetry endpoints, or unauthorized harvesting of sensor coordinates.
- Malicious Payloads: Transmitting corrupted files, logic bombs, malware, or spam through the encrypted transmission portal.
- Spam Honeypot Traps: Our forms employ invisible cryptographic honeypots. Any automated script triggering these traps is logged and subject to immediate automated IP blockades.
06. Defense Data, Dual-Use & Export Compliance
Information regarding radar systems (EW-09), tactical cryptography (SC-31), telemetry hardware (TM-14), and aerospace components displayed on this website is for general informational and public demonstration purposes only.
- All operational defense technologies conform to standard public release clearance parameters established under applicable export control guidelines and SCOMET regulations of the Government of India.
- Formal technical procurement schematics, hardware specifications, and military cryptographic keys are supplied solely under classified government-to-government (G2G) channels or authorized procurement contracts.
- Users are prohibited from exporting, re-exporting, or diverting any proprietary technical documentation obtained from Dhruva Defence in violation of applicable national security statutes.
07. Disclaimer of Warranties

08. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE INDIAN LAW:
- DHRUVA DEFENCE SYSTEMS LTD., ITS DIRECTORS, SCIENTISTS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OPERATIONAL DOWNTIME, LOSS OF SATELLITE TELEMETRY, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DATA LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE OUR WEBSITE, RADAR SIMULATORS, OR MOBILE APPLICATIONS.

09. Termination & Suspension
Dhruva Defence reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to terminate, suspend, or revoke access to its web portals, APIs, or mobile application services to any user or organization found to have violated these Terms, engaged in cyber security incursions, or breached intellectual property covenants.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Any legal claim, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms, the website, or our mobile applications shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
